We were in Manitoba for a month, taking a break from the high gas prices associated with hauling everything you own with you everywhere. We BBQ'ed, hiked around in the forest, and floated on the lakes. The day before I left I found a small patch of Chanterelles. A big pile of beer cans would have been an appropriate picture to add, but it sure wouldn't be too pretty. All in all it was a wonderful time of reminiscence with old friends and even older family.
